We are thrilled to pieces to introduce you to our own Rachel Noel! She was the first-ever Review Response Guru and has since trained and formed the entire WebPunch Review Response Team. She is literally PURE sunshine and her incredible way with words lets our clients, as well as our team members, know how much she cares.
When she's not managing our clients' online reputations, you will find Rachel nurturing her family, teaching spin classes and spending time at the beach. Read on to discover more fun facts about Rachel - the living, beating heartbeat of the WebPunch family. We all love her to pieces!
Ever wonder which days of the week people like to post reviews the most? What about whether or not the day the review gets posted correlates to the business’s industry? No? Just us? Well, that’s what we’re here for, to ask the tough questions and find the answers, or at least have our researchers find them (don’t worry, we cracked the windows this time).
There is a zen proverb that states, “It takes a wise man to learn from his mistakes but an even wiser man to learn from others.” I like to get inspired and hear about how other business people have turned their massive efforts and sacrifices into major successes. One way that I do this is by listening to podcasts. I particularly like “How I Built This podcast by NPR.” The series interviews outstanding founders and innovators about their stories of how they created their iconic companies.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to pick up several hundred balls and start juggling. Higher! More! What? You haven’t been trained in the fine art of juggling? Carrying too many balls?
Alright, how about instead you just have a seat and join the WebPunch team as we discuss the very delicate balancing act of life and work; an amazing tightrope act all its own.
There’s a Change.org petition that’s only 331 signatures away from the 25,000 limit, making it a legitimate movement. The petition calls for Yelp to remove all online reviews about doctors since they are unable to respond sufficiently because in doing so, they could violate the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), which makes it illegal for doctors to share information about their patients.
Unofficial Facebook pages; do you know what they are? Do you know why they're a problem? Do you know how to get rid of them? I'm Matt Jones with WebPunch and today we're going to be discussing Facebook unofficial pages. Unofficial Facebook pages are pages that are created by Facebook without your permission, and usually they were created because someone went to check in to your business and your business didn't have a listing. So Facebook said, "Hey, people have an interest in this business. I am going to go ahead and create a page for them."
I grew up in the eighties. I wore a swatch, hurt myself break dancing and jammed out to The Cure whenever I could. Another thing that preoccupied my time was watching quality entertainment such as: Predator, Commando, Rambo and occasionally, a greased-up Hulk Hogan laying waste to his bad-guy opponents in the wrestling ring. My heroes back then had some very salient commonalities:
Men may be from Mars and women from Venus, but we wanted to know who posted the most online reviews on planet Earth. So we looked into it and discovered a lot more than just that. We found out where in the country men and women are posting from, what they are posting about, and much more. That's kind of what we do; we get to the bottom of what you need to know.
