Guide to Google My Business

Google My Business is just one of countless, free programs developed by search engine behemoth Google that is available to help businesses expand their customer engagement and outreach. It’s such an important and nuanced facet of online reputation and digital marketing that we’ve got our own in-house experts. These experts have come to realize that Google My Business, also referred to as GMB, has recently released a slew of features that when taken advantage of can be a boon to communicating with customers and increasing a company’s online exposure.

Over the next couple of months, we’ll be releasing a series of articles and infographics that detail all the new, awesome features of GMB.  For example, Google Posts will give businesses the opportunity to share images, videos, and news updates with their audiences and these posts will appear on Google Search and Maps. Another exciting feature is GMB Messaging which makes it possible for customers to contact a business directly from the company’s Google listing.

To get us started, our delightful graphic designer, Barb, put together the fine infographic you see below which summarizes all of these incredible (and did we mention free?) GMB features. Courtesy of our resident experts and marvelous clients, we’ll be breaking down each new release with individual articles and graphics that contain first-hand accounts of how each new feature works.
