Google continues to upgrade user experiences by rolling out search queries right in Google Maps!
What does this mean?
While most online users head to Google’s search bar to ask a question, Google hopes users will now utilize its Maps feature for the same type of questions.
Potential clients in your local service area can now ask Maps things such as “What is going on in this area tonight” or “Who is the best plumber near me” and Google’s new generative AI, Gemini, will extract information from online sources and directly from your reviews to populate the search results.
